Laptop Power Repair .NET Provides same day repair service for laptops that have power issues, especially shorting issues on the motherboards.  The most common power issues are:  power connector inside of the laptop goes bad, your charger or ac adapter keeps blinking all the time or the light on the ac adapter goes out, if you don't have a light on the charger the clicking ticking sound from the ac adapter might indicate a short on the motherboard.   If your system does not run at all when ac adapter is connected to the laptop.   Basically if you think it is a power related issue, such as power from the AC adapter charger does not power up the laptop then we fix these issues.   We specialize mostly in power issues associated with shorts on the motherboard,  or faulty components on the motherboard of the laptop.  Our flat rate fee is $115 to fix the laptop and only charged if we make it work.   Again we only work on power related issues, we do not work on anything else, so please only send your laptop in if you think it is power related.    For the shipping back you can either attach a prepaid return shipping label, or make a check for $10 to cover the shipping back to you.   Please feel free to email us with your issue and we could let you know what are the chances that we will fix your particular issue.  Our email is:  email@LaptopPowerRepair.NET   Our phone is: (847) 529 9441

The most common issues that we solve are:
  1. DC Power Jack Repair / Replacement (Power jack, Socket, Port, Input, Connector, Plug etc..)
  2. Removing shortages on the laptop motherboards.

Blinking green light on the laptop AC DC adapter, or flashing light on the ac adapter charger or light going out completely
If your laptop ac adapter (power supply, power brick, power charger) keeps blinking with a green light and the laptop / notebook system does not power up at all while the ac adapter is plugged into the laptop, then you have a short on the motherboard.  We do fix that.  We are probably the only company in U.S. that fixes that because we know what to look for.  Chances for the successful repair are 70%.  We do not charge anything unless we make it work.   No fix no charge.

What are the symptoms of the short on the laptop motherboard...
You plug in your ac adapter into the wall ac power outlet; the light on the ac adapter is solid green at that time. As soon as you connect the ac adapter’s plug into the laptop the light on the ac adapter dims and does not show green light at all until the next time you unplug the ac adapter from the laptop and from the wall or the ac adapter could simply be blinking green. At the same time system does not power up from the ac adapter.  Again if the light goes out and does not blink that also means a short on the motherboard, and again we fix that.  So the light on the charger could either go out or could be blinking.

I do not have a light on the ac adapter but it keeps beeping or making noise...

Some adapters don't have a light on the ac adapter but they keep beeping or making noise, if the adapter is making squeaking or beeping noise that also means the

What this means?
This means that once the short is being encountered the AC adapter shuts itself down, once it shuts itself down the green light goes out. If the ac adapter is more advance it tries to restart itself thus the blinking light. Every time ac adapter restarts the shortage happens and thus the light comes up and dims out.

Is it fixable?
No, if you do it yourself. There isn’t a device out there that could show you where the short is at on the motherboard.  If you already tried to fix it yourself we probably would not be able to fix it either, we receive many laptops where people use a screw driver to fix things on the motherboard and screw up things beyond repair.

Can we fix it?
Maybe. The chances for HP DELL ACER COMPAQ computers that have a blinking light are about 60-70% that we can fix it because we know what to look for, again there are no tools out there that can identify where the short is at but since we are in business of power repairs on laptop computers we for the most part know where to look for the short.  For all other computers are about 50% chance that we will find where the short is at. Again we can only fix it if the light goes out on the ac adapter, or keeps blinking green whenever you plug in the ac adapter into the laptop. Keep in mind we are one of very few companies, maybe the only one in U.S. that can actually fix that shortage issue.

Power Connector or Jack Socket Input Port is broken..
We fix these as well feel free to call for more information.  Same price.

How much would it cost to fix it?
There is no diagnostic or any other fees. We only charge you if the system is working fine after the repair. The price structure is as follows.
If you send the whole laptop to us with the ac adapter we will need 2 checks from you, first check for $10 to cover the return shipping back to you the second check is for $115 for labor. If we fix the laptop and it works fine we keep both checks $10+$115 = $125. If we won’t fix the laptop and it does not work fine then we only keep the $10 check to cover our return shipping cost.   You can also enclose a prepaid return shipping label and we do not need $10 for shipping then.

Turnaround times?
We keep the system here no more than 24 hours.

Where to send the laptop to?
